Jesus, my Lord and Savior, Make me your good disciple. Give me the courage to proclaim your name and teach others about your love and mercy. Help me to grow in my faith: Give me a hunger for prayer that I may come to intimately know you; A hunger to learn more about my faith that I may grow in understanding of your will; A zeal to build up your kingdom, that others may come to know your goodness; And a deep desire to be a faithful son of your Church, that I may support its efforts to proclaim you. When I turn away from you, forgive me; When I am weak, give me your strength; When I am weary, give me rest; And may your presence in the sacraments be my source of joy and renewal.   Amen
